for the University of Birmingham Dental Deanery so your
teeth are in the very safest of hands. Coventry Road
Dental Care may be established but we never stop improving

Treatment and
Care
We offer all round dental care for both NHS and private
patients and we aim to make every visit a positive experience,
especially if you’re nervous about coming to the
dentist. You’ll find a great choice of treatments
available, whether you need a restorative treatment
to fix a broken or damaged tooth, or you’re looking
for advice on how to keep your teeth and gums clean
and healthy.
Many common dental problems can be avoided
by simply looking after your smile so don’t forget
to come for a routine check-up at least every six months!

Whiter teeth,
a greener world
We believe in doing what we can to help protect
the environment and use an amalgam separator to make
sure that any unused amalgam (the material used in fillings)
isn’t flushed down the drain into the water supply.
We have also committed to being a fully
computerised practice, which reduces the amount of paper
we use to a minimum, so doing our bit for a greener
world.
Facilities
We have six surgeries at the practice, fully equipped
with everything your dentist needs to keep your teeth
and gums healthy. On entering the practice you will
notice the specially designed modern reception and waiting
rooms. This follows into the surgeries where we use
only the very latest in equipment and techniques. All
surgeries are air conditioned , fully computerised and
have plasma screens for your comfort and educational
information.
Everything we do is focused on you, the
patient, and we’ll always aim to discuss your
treatment with you and answer any questions you may
have. Our facilities may be state of the art, but our
service is friendly and down to earth, designed to put
you at your ease.
Our team
With seven dentists at the practice we can offer a wider
range of treatments than other dental practices, giving
you access to experts in specialist types of dentistry
such as orthodontics and gum disease. Similarly, you’ll
also find our dental nurses and hygienists very helpful
too, especially when it comes to information and advice
on how to care for your teeth and gums.
All our dentists are committed to ensuring
their work and knowledge is of the highest standard
. We achieve this by ensuring that each dentist attends
courses (nationally and internationally) throughout
each and every year of their careers with us. We have
a minimum requirement of study hours for each dentist
to achieve in order for them to stay on at the practice.
In this way we know you are getting the very best.
Our dentists are also members of the Royal
College of Surgeons of England , which entitles them
to the title M.F.G.D.P.(R.C.S.)
To become a member you have to sit a series
of intense examinations which are set by the Royal College
of Surgeons. Once again this means you are getting the
very best of knowledge and service from your dentist
at our practice. However, rest assured all our dentists
are warm and friendly people , who know how to explain
things in a way you’ll understand.

Investors in People
Because we’re a practice that likes to
have the highest standards, we like to ensure we have
the very best people working for us. One of the ways
we have achieved this is by becoming an Investor in
People, an award we’ve held for several years
now.
Vocational Training
Vocational Training, means that we have been
appointed by the local deanery (University of Birmingham
) to become a teaching practice. In order to achieve
this the University inspects the practice annually to
ensure we have the highest standards and equipment being
used. Recently the practice has been awarded the further
accolade of being an Enhanced Vocational training practice.
Coventry City Football
Club
We sponsor and are the main dental practice of Coventry
City Football Club, and yes, we do get some football
stars coming in from time to time!
